Even in traditional weddings, it seems a lot of folks have had enough of the over the top, dressed-like-a-pool-float-bridesmaid. New American Weddings lead the way with some very stylish options that hold the theme without the heavy handed rules.
Have you seen a New American Wedding that presented a great solution to tie the attendant’s looks together, without making them look like a chorus line at the Roxy? Please tell us more. Pictures would be great.
I don't have pictures but I attended a wedding of a friend last year and while the bride's attendant's dresses looked as though they belonged together, each woman's style and flair was completely taken into account. The dresses could be worn again for many occasions, not stuck in the back of a closet somewhere collecting dust. They were very spring like and beautiful but NOT in the draded sea foam taffeta. It was a very relaxed affair and everyone look beautiful AND comfortable.
The bride is an artist, her husband a musician. It was important to both that self-expression be allowed by all. I loved the look!
