« The Ceremony | Main | The Dress »

One of my favorite ideas for dressing bridesmaids is for each to choose a dress in the same color. They look uniform enough to be recognized as the attendants, but unique enough to look like real people, too.

My own wedding involved my fiance's and my siblings as attendants, which made it very special. Because of our love for children, we also chose to have 6 young members of the wedding party- two ring bearers, each with one ring, and four flower girls. Seeing the trend in other weddings, we chose not to doll the children up as exact replicas of their adult counterparts. For our little attendants, each was dressed in the same color and material, but was allowed input on the design of his or her clothing. The end result was fantastic, as each child looked unique.
